Tishan Maharaj, a former West indies World Cup captain, has been named among a squad of 16 players to attend a special briefing session tomorrow at the Frank Worrell Development Centre, in Balmain, Couva from 4.30 pm.

This is the fine tuning of the preparation for the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Championship which takes place in Guyana in August.

The team will be taken through physical and gym sessions, fielding sessions, indoor and outdoor nets sessions and simulated match practices. These will be conducted by Roland Sampath and Bachan Boochoon.

When available, Gus Logie, current de facto West Indies coach, will assist in the simulated match practice sessions.

Mental preparation will be conducted by Joey Carew and two other selected motivators.

The squad: Dinesh Ramdin, Tishan Maharaj, Devon Nelson, Aaron Ragoonath, Jason Mohammed, Jonathan Augustus, Lendl Simmons, Petroc Nicholas, Capil Subran, Rishi Bachan, Magnum Nanan, Ravi Rampaul, Kwesi Roy, Kavesh Kanta Singh, Vishnu Narine, William Perkins.
