The
Constitution Reform Forum has invited the public to a panel
discussion on crime and Constitution reform on Saturday at
the University of the West Indies, St Augustine.
The discussion takes place at the Student Activity Centre
between 3 pm to 6 pm.
In a statement yesterday, the forum said it shares the view
that citizens have a role to play in reversing the crime rate
and that the ability to do so depends on getting public opinion
on governance.
Panellists for Saturday include Hugh Wooding Law School lecturer
Michael Theodore, Womens Institute for Alternative Development
Folade Mutota and retired major general Ralph Brown, chair
of the Vision 20-20 sub-committee on crime and security.
