Road death 186

Police investigators examine an 18-wheeler diesel tanker which flipped over, landed on its side, pinning Shaheed Mohammed behind the wheel as he tried to negotiate a bend in Tableland yesterday. Mohammed died on the spot. His death takes the unofficial road fatality toll to 186.
