St George battles for king’s crown

Roland St George made a strong challenge for Curtis Eustace’s King of Carnival crown during the preliminary joust at Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain, on Thursday night. St George’s Carbya, from defending large band champ Trini Revellers’ Conquest of the Indies, got a standing ovation from mas lovers when the kings took the stage.
