The final trading day of 2005 yielded a trading volume of 6.87 million shares with a market value of $65.4 million. Jamaica Money Market Brokers had the largest trading volume with 3,603,283 of its shares crossing the floor. Caribbean Communications Network Ltd added 2,189,107 shares to the overall market volume.

Ansa Merchant Bank Ltd enjoyed the largest positive price movement for the day, up $1.50 to $21.50. RBTT Financial Holdings Ltd was up $0.65 ending the day at $40.50 while Trinidad Publishing Company Ltd closed at $13.00, up $0.34. Guardian Holdings Ltd ended the day down $0.42 to $32.08, West Indian Tobacco Company Ltd fell $0.23 to $23.02 and Grace Kennedy Ltd lost $0.13 to finish at $9.02.

On the Mutual Fund Market, no shares were traded in Praetorian Property Mutual Fund or Savinest India Asia Fund with the prices remaining at $5.25 and $63.50 respectively.

On the Second Tier Market, no shares were traded with the prices of Mora Ven Holdings and FNCU Venture Capital Company Ltd remaining at $2.50 and $1.05, in that order.

The Composite Index gained 2.48 points to close on 1,067.38, while the All T&T Index was up 4.78 points to close on 1,322.98.
