Indar Cadan, sales manager, Republic Bank, Sangre Grande, presents a cheque to staff and residents of Casa de Corazon.

Republic Bank presented a timely gift of $5,099 to the Casa de Corazon this season. The donation was meant to assist with the furnishing of a library space for those that benefit from the services of Casa de Corazon.

In keeping with its commitment to foster youth development in the region, the bank was especially happy to assist with this worthwhile venture.

The donation came at the behest of the Republic Youth Links, young people given the opportunity to apprentice at the bank while developing the means and desire to truly contribute to the nation.

Casa de Corazon means “heart home” and is a children’s home located in Sangre Grande. Run by Jannette Gray and her staff, the home houses/assists children with heart defects.

The bank’s Sangre Grande sales manager Indar Cadan visited the home recently to meet the children and staff and present a cheque on behalf of the financial institution.
