Patrons had a ball at several of last weekend’s major Carnival fetes. Today, the Guardian relives the moments from Amnesia, QRC’s Outta de Blue and UWI’s all-inclusive.

Carnival continued to take centre stage this weekend. Patrons flocked to venues and frolicked to music leading up to the greatest show on earth, Carnival.

Friends of bpTT moved house for this year’s all inclusive fete to Pier I, Chaguaramas, to accommodate the hundreds that turned out on Sunday for an afternoon of true Trini fun. Intermittent showers and technical glitches in the performances of some of the music bands failed to damper the spirit of fete lovers, as photographer Andre Alexander shows.

With Carnival fast approaching, the party action is now heating, with at least six major fetes every weekend.
Today, the Guardian highlights action from Gal Farm, and the CIC and Blue Range all-inclusive fetes.
