National Flour Mills Ltd captured the most attention from investors as 1.26 million of the company’s shares changed hands. Capital & Credit Merchant Bank Ltd recorded the second largest traded volume for the day with 253,781 shares, while Trinidad Publishing Company Ltd saw 154,200 shares traded. Overall total volume registered at 1.99 million shares, for a market value of $8.09 million.

In terms of price movements, nine issues advanced and four declined on the Main Board. Unilever Caribbean Ltd led all advances, up $1.06 to $18.00. Trinidad Publishing Company Ltd gained $0.95 and closed on $18.00, while Capital & Credit Merchant Bank Ltd ended the day $0.05 higher on $1.60. On the downside, Sagicor Financial Corporation slipped $0.08 to $13.90; National Commercial Bank Jamaica Ltd lost $0.06 and ended on $1.60, while Angostura Holdings Ltd moved down $0.02 to $5.53.
