The
Opposition UNC has called for a meeting on Friday with the
Elections and Boundaries Commission to discuss the EBC’s
policy on party names and symbols for local and general elections.
UNC’s Dr Tim Gopeesingh, the party’s chief executive
officer wrote to the EBC yesterday.
The UNC also wants to discuss housing developments now being
constructed by the Housing Development Company of T&T
around the country, current voter registration exercises,
training of electoral staff and international observers for
elections.
