POLLYDORE: LOUISINA MARTINA, died peacefully during sleep at Port of Spain General Hospital on the morning of Friday 24th November 2006 after her admittance on Thursday afternoon. Shewas born in Grenada in 1935 and migrated to Trinidad to join her family in Fyzabad in 1962. She eventually moved to city environs and identified with the Cathedral Parish. She will be long remembered for her service of hospitality at the Catholic Presbyteries of Cathedral from 1979 to 1985, at Sangre Grande from 1985 to 1992, at Mayaro from 1992 to 2002 and finally at Assumption from 2002 up to her death. Her Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at Assumption Church, Maraval on Wednesday 29th November at 1:00pm thence to the Lapeyrouse Cemetery for burial.


WALTERS: MICKEY OF 29 Abercromby Street, St. Joseph, died on Sunday 9th November, 2006. Son of the late Ann and Oliver Walters. MITCHELL:GLORIA formerly of 3 Bhupsingh Street, Clarke Road, Penal, died on Saturday 25th November, 2006 at the San Fernando General Hospital at the age of 71. Mother of Merlin Alean Boyce nee Mitchell. Grandmother of Kevin John Boyce. Daughter of Philmeno Mitchell and Beatrice Aguillera (deceased). Sister of James, John and Rita Mitchell and Theodora Aguillera, Andrew, George, Ancil and Bob Mitchell (all deceased). Niece of Julia Aguillera. ALI: UVEARA (aka) Vera of 39 Railway Road, Arima, died peacefully on Sunday 26th November 2006. She was the daughter of the late Ibrahim Ali (Imam of the Arima Mosque) and Jassina Ali. Wife of Mustapha Ali. Sister of the late Ibn Hisham (Sonny), Abu Hayyam, Shamshad and Shamal. Sister-in-law of Sheriza, Marilyn, Swalaha and Shairoon. Aunt of Susan, Gail, Dianne, Dawn, Jared, Issa, Sara and Rizaan. Relative of the Muradalis. Funeral service takes place at the Mosque Upper Railway Road, Arima at 2:30pm on 27th November, 2006.
