Agriculturalists are being invited to enter the revived National Agricultural Entrepreneurial Awards 2007 which was re-launched on Tuesday at Centre Pointe Mall, Chaguanas.

Entries are being accepted in the following categories:

  • Crops less than two hectares
  • Crops two hectares and over
  • Growbox/container/hydroponics
  • Nursery production
  • Livestock
  • Fisheries
  • Agro-processing
  • Integrated farming

The competition is open to nationals and companies registered in T&T.

Application forms and other relevant information are available at regional offices of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Tobago House of Assembly. Completed forms must be submitted before May 11.

Special awards will be given in the areas of youth in business, women in agri-business, export, innovation in agriculture, small ruminants, apiculture and cocoa.
