A group of young people has joined teenage activist Choc’late allen and have been inducted into her 100 Per Cent Crime-Free Youth Committee as voluntary members.

The statement said the committee would pay special recognition to six youth motivators and two family members who had been exemplars to young people, during an awards ceremony scheduled to take place during a luncheon on July 17.

Caribbean Vizion is an organisation that promotes edu-culture and lobbies for cultural and economic co-operation among Caribbean people and their governments.

Allen became well known as the thirteen-year-old who sought to raise awareness of the crime situation that exists in the nation and chose to do something positive about it.
