COP takes us across racial divide

So finally my election analysis comes to an end. This week we are going to look at the seats that the COP “nearly won.”

Look at the table for a real surprise. While everyone thought the COP was stealing UNC votes, seven of the top ten seats they nearly won were PNM!

Indeed in the COP “top 20,” ten were PNM and ten were UNC seats.

Are we witnessing the first party in the history of Trinidad and Tobago to cross the racial divide and appeal to all sectors, rich and poor, black, brown and white, Hindu, Muslim and Christian?

Just a thought

PS: Remember you can go to my Web site at www.quentrall.com, click on Elections and download these tables, which are in an un-locked Excel spreadsheet.
