Friday’s activity registered a volume of 754,591 shares and a value of $11.96 million.

Sagicor Financial Corporation led for the third consecutive day with 639,525 shares being traded, valued at $6.4 million. Neal & Massy Holdings Limited posted a trade volume of 100,366 shares with a trade value of $4.97 million. Republic Bank Limited and Scotia DBG Investments Limited contributed 6,700 shares and 5,000 shares at market values of $576,227.00 and $9,750.00 respectively.

Total volume for the week registered at 2.2 million shares with a corresponding market value of $48.63 million. Sagicor ended the week with the highest traded volume as 1.36 million of its shares crossed the floor valued at $14.01 million. Neal & Massy was also actively traded ending the week with a volume of 341,128 shares and a value of $16.89 million.

Sagicor lost $0.49 on its way to $10.00, Scotia DBG traded down $0.05 to $1.95 and Republic slipped $0.01 to end the week at $86.00. Sagicor lost $1.00 for the week while GraceKennedy Limited lost $0.35 closing at $4.50 and Trinidad Cement Limited dropped $0.25 to $4.75. National Enterprises Limited was down $0.15 to $6.60 and Angostura Holdings Limited ended the week down $0.10 at $7.00. Scotia DBG and Guardian Holdings Limited recorded weekly losses of $0.05 and $0.01 to close at $1.95 and $17.00 respectively. Market Capitalization ended the week at $77.25 billion having lost $585,355,959 for the week.

The Mutual Fund Market was inactive. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund was the only active security for the week with a volume of 200 shares and a value of $774.00

There was no activity on the Second Tier market.

On the Bond Market a volume of 38,000 was recorded for a traded value of $37.58 million. Weekly volume totalled 38,030 while weekly value was $37.6 million.

The Composite Index fell 1.70 points to 851.99. The All T&T Index shed 0.04 points on its way to 1,164.78. The Cross Listed Index was down 0.39 points, ending on 66.69. All three market indices were down for the week with the Composite recording a loss of 6.46 points, the All T&T down 3.96 points and the Cross Listed declining 1.06 points.
