Reigning Panorama champions Phase II Pan Groove will play in position ten at the National Panorama finals on March 1 at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain. Ten other bands in the large band category will seek to snatch the title from the 2013 champions. The draw for the positions in single, small, medium and large band categories took place yesterday at the National Carnival Commission’s (NCC) VIP Lounge, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain.

The competition for single and small bands will take place on February 26 at Skinner Park, with 26 bands performing. In the medium band category, last year’s winners, NLCB Buccooneers, will be the last band out of ten others to perform at the Savannah on Carnival Saturday. That night, large band Neal & Massy Trinidad All Stars will perform right before Phase II, the band which took away their title last year, along with the $1 million first prize.
